No one knows where the anomaly came from, or what it is made of.

At its center is a pale yellow core surrounded by metallic rings that rotate without any visible force. It emits no light, casts no shadow, produces no sound, and exerts no measurable gravitational field. Every attempt to examine it has failed. Lasers never reach their target, instruments return impossible values, and the data collapses into meaningless vector overflows.

The only breakthrough came from a series of recurring glyphs appearing within our oscilloscopes. They emerge only for an instant—just long enough to be recorded. We believe they are not random, but the anomaly's first attempt at communication.

You have been urgently transferred from the University to join the research team as its newest linguist. Your predecessor managed to identify only five symbols before suffering what the medical staff classified as Acute Self-Cognitive Shock.

The artifact has waited in silence.

It has finally begun to speak.
